I retired as of July 1, 2012 from a really fun job helping secondary school teachers and students innovate and use technology in the classroom to prepare kids for *their* future, not our *past." I am now an educational consultant, workshop presenter, and web designer with the same overall purpose. In other words, my goal is to be sure that our g-kids' classrooms don't look just like the ones *we* were in long ago! It's a blast! Before this job, I taught English for 20 years and worked as a media specialist for 13 years. I am well past the point of retirement, but since I still love what I'm doing, why stop?

My husband Steve and I have 9 amazing grandchildren, all beautiful/handsome and very intelligent, of course! Doesn't that describe *all* of our g-kids?

Hey girl! Happy,Happy Birthday! Was thinking last night about all the great things in our growing up years! Especially both of our wonderful sets of parents & the long,deep friendship they also shared!
