8000 characters IS NOT enough. . .I'll have to print my book before the reunion. . .Someone said I should write one with the "exciting"(?) life I've had. I'm sure, tho, someone out there has more "exciting" things to throw out there. We'll see come reunion time!
School Story:
Since being on this site, memories have flooded my mind THOROUGHLY! But if I have to pick a real good memory, it would be (and always will be) the "fun" times spent EVERY weekend at Riverside Park with all the other "hippies", listening to all that wonderful music! I still can't drive thru there without remembering some good times!
A funny memory would be when I dated Darrel Wiegger. . .He smoked & I didn't, so he had to carry a tube of toothpaste, and NEVER got a kiss until he brushed his teeth!!! Secrectly, I think his trunk was FULL of toothpaste!!
Sorry to hear about your sisters passing. Not sure if you knew that was coming or it was something sudden. However, even if you know the inevitable is coming it still seems sudden when it happens. Our thoughts are with you.
Richard, I want to thank EVERYBODY who has sent me messages today regarding my sister's passing. It wasn't a surprise, as she started getting sick back in 2005 (I believe), when she had her first of several heart attacks. She had cancer, emphezema, and was generally in horrible health, but she trudged on, supporting her son, his wife, and their child, all that time. She smoke 2+ packs of cigarettes a day (since the age of 14), and her job required no physical movement (she was a Medical Transcriptionist & worked from home), so she lasted longer than some of us thought she would. I know she's sitting up there laughing at everybody down here! 90% of the Fleming family is up there with her, so it's a party, I'm sure...But, God will (and has) carried me through this. I will miss her terribly, as she was my ONLY sister, but I DO have my memories! Thanks again. To EVERYBODY!! I love you guys!! ....... Kathy
